VẤN-ĐỀ BÁC-ÁI TỪ-BI
Từ xưa đến nay các nhà Tôn-giáo đem chữ từ-bi bác-ái phổ-hoá nhơn-sanh là để bảo-tồn sanh mạng của quần-chúng, gầy lại sự hạnh-phúc cho đời chung hưởng. Chữ từ-bi bác-ái chẳng lạ gì.
Bần-Đạo nói ra thì chư Chức sắc nam, nữ Chức-việc Đạo-hữu cũng điều hiểu rõ.
Cái nghĩa-lý của bốn chữ từ-bi bác-ái cũng không phải là mắc mỏ gì, từ lớn chí nhỏ làm được tất-cả mà tiết thay cho nhơn-sanh không chiụ thực-hành. .
Từ-bi là gì? Bác-ái là gì? Bần-Đạo xin được giãi chữ Từ-bi ai ai cũng đều có sẵn trong tâm, trẻ con nên năm bảy tuổi thì nó đã biết thương yêu cha mẹ, thương-yêu anh em là người thân tộc gần gủi của nó, khi nó đã trưởng thành có vợ con, bậu-bạn thì nó lại thương yêu rộng ra hơn nữa, một khi đã thấy sự đau khổ hoạn-nạn, tai-ương của quần-chúng thì nó cảm-hoá xúc-động đến tâm thương-yêu lan tràn ra, không biết đâu là giới hạn, ấy là tánh từ-bi đó. .
Còn bác-ái là thể theo lòng Trời Phật thương yêu toàn cả chúng sanh không biết đâu là bờ bến, thấy chúng-sanh làm được việc gì có đạo-đức nhơn-nghĩa, thì Trời Phật vui mừng thương yêu chẳng xiết, ấy là Bác-ái. .
Hiện nay nhơn-loại thiếu sự từ-bi bác-ái cho nên tạo ra trường tranh-đấu, quyết chiến với nhau, sát hại đồng bào tương-tàn cốt nhục, Đức Chí-Tôn giáng-trần hoằng-khai Đại-Đạo Tam-Kỳ Phổ-Độ là cốt yếu đem chủ-nghĩa từ-bi bác-ái làm tôn-chỉ, để cho nhơn-sanh theo đó mà làm một cơ-quan bảo-tồn tánh-mạng và bảo-an Quốc-thể được hoà-bình. .
Ngày nào toàn cả quần chúng, đồng-bào biết giác ngộ, tu-tâm hiệp nhứt thật hành chủ-nghĩa từ-bi bác-ái cho ra chơn tường, thì nhơn-sanh sẽ đặng chung hưởng mọi điều hạnh phúc, chẳng luận quốc dân nào, xã-hội nào mà toàn cầu thế-giới cũng được thọ hưởng cái hạnh-phúc ấy. |

THE ISSUE OF UNIVERSAL LOVE AND COMPASSION
From ancient times to the present, religious leaders have spread the words of compassion and universal love among humanity to preserve the lives of the masses and build happiness for all to share. The words "compassion" and "universal love" are not unfamiliar.
When I speak of them, all male and female dignitaries and religious practitioners will understand them clearly.
The meaning of the four words "compassion" and "universal love" is not complicated. Everyone, from young to old, can understand them. However, it is a pity that humanity does not practice them.
What is compassion? What is universal love? I would like to explain that everyone has compassion in their heart. When children are five or seven years old, they already know how to love their parents and siblings, who are their close relatives. When they grow up and have a wife, children, and friends, their love expands even further. When they see the suffering, hardship, and misfortune of the masses, their hearts are touched and their compassion overflows, knowing no bounds. That is compassion.
Universal love is following the heart of God and Buddha in loving all sentient beings without bounds. When God and Buddha see sentient beings doing virtuous and righteous deeds, they are overjoyed and love them immensely. That is universal love.
Today, humanity lacks compassion and universal love, which has led to the creation of a battlefield where people fight and kill each other, destroying their own kind. The Supreme Being descended to the world to promulgate the Third Universal Cycle of Salvation with the main purpose of using the principle of compassion and universal love as a motto. This is to guide humanity to become an organization that preserves life and ensures national peace and security.
When all people and compatriots awaken, cultivate their hearts, and truly practice the principles of compassion and universal love, humanity will be able to share all happiness. Regardless of nationality or society, the entire world will be able to enjoy that happiness. |
